Part Ten and Epilogue
Quotes
"A small, sad hope. No one wanted to bomb Himmel Street. No one would bomb a place named after heaven, would they? Would they?" Death, Part 10 Here Death is just explaining the irony of the situation.
"The Book Thief-last line. I have hated the words and I have loved them, and I hope I have made them right." Death, Part 10 This is a quote explaining that she loves and hurts the words.
"She tore a page from the book and ripped it in half. Then a chapter. Soon, there was nothing but scraps of words littered between her legs and all around her. The words. Why did they have to exist? Without them, there wouldn't be any of this. Without words, the Fuher was nothing. There would be no limping prisoners, no need for consolation or wordly tricks to make us feel better." Death, Part 10 Here Liesel is angry at how all these words are the only things that can help with what these awful people stand for.

My Thoughts and Response
This part was my favorite in the book by far because it was an immediate resolution of the story. With one quick act to interfere, the lives of many were taken by a bombing. It's Sad but oh well :)
